How to use

Click on the notes in the fretboard to generate your code. The tool auto detects the series of notes and displays the chord name.

In addition to the detected chord, the tool suggests upto four alternate chord names if any exist for the combination of the selected notes. You can manually change the chord name yourself as well.

You can save your chord in the lead sheet by clicking 'Add To Sheet' button. This will add a Diagram of your chord along with a TAB staff to add strumming.

Clicking on a bar in the lead sheet opens the strum panel where you can draw strumming in the resolution ranging from 1/1 (Whole notes) to 1/16 (16th notes).

You can copy the Chords and the Strums individually and paste them unto the next bar to create a progression. A bar can be added to sheet either by clicking on the '+' icon or by adding a Chord from the Fretboard.

Once you are happy with your Chord Progression. You can save it in the progresion bank to load it later or to export it in PDF format. Note: It is required to be logged in and adding a 'Song Title' in order to save progressions in the bank.

All your save files will appear in the Progression Bank below. From here, you can load the file back onto the lead sheet, edit your chords or strums and save the file back again. Note: If the song title is unchanged, the tool will prompt you to overwrite the file.

You can select all your progressions and click 'Export Selected'. This will open a pdf preview which shows all your generated progressions in a single file.

Use sort options in the progression bank to arrange the progressions in your prefered order. You can sort by Name, Key, BPM and Last Modified.

If everything is in order in the PDF preview. You can click Download PDF to download a PDF file which can be printed or shared with others.
